What we find when the door opens
There's almost always a path. Even in the most overwhelming homes, the person living there has a route they use — from the front door to the kitchen, to the bed, to the bathroom. That path tells us a lot about where to start and what the person is ready for.
The kettle is usually the next thing we notice. If someone's stopped making themselves a cup of tea, that tells us more about where things are than any room in the house.
We don't rush what comes next. Whether a home needs hoarding clearance, a deep clean, help after a bereavement, or all of it — we work at the person's pace. If the garden needs attention too, we take care of that at the same time.
Our longest-standing council partnership
Northamptonshire Council was our first council partner, and the relationship has only deepened. Social workers, housing officers, and environmental health teams refer directly to us, knowing we understand their processes and meet their safeguarding standards.
We've supported over 205 families across our service areas in the past year. Every job comes with full documentation — waste transfer notes, completion reports, and job summaries. For urgent safeguarding referrals, we prioritise same-day response.
Our team is DBS Enhanced checked and safeguarding trained. We arrive in unmarked vehicles — which matters in close-knit communities where people know their neighbours' cars.
