Working with councils — how our partnership model works

The call that doesn't follow a form

You've made a referral for specialist cleaning before. Maybe you found a contractor online, sent the details, and waited. Then chased. Then chased again. By the time someone answered, the situation had moved on — the tenant was back in hospital, or the property had deteriorated further.

Most council professionals who contact us have been through that. You don't need another contractor. You need a partner who picks up the phone.

What partnership looks like at 2am

The calls that matter most don't arrive during office hours. A housing officer describes a situation in two sentences and asks, “Can you get there by morning?” We can.

We're approved partners with Northamptonshire Council, Milton Keynes Council, Norfolk County Council, and Norwich City Council. But the word “approved” only tells half the story. What it means in practice is that social workers and housing officers refer directly to us, knowing we already understand your processes, your safeguarding requirements, and your documentation standards.

That relationship changes everything. There's no onboarding conversation each time. No explaining what a vulnerable adult referral needs. No crossing your fingers that the contractor you found on a framework list actually has experience with these situations.

When the referral doesn't match the reality

Here's something that comes up more often than you might expect. A referral describes a property needing a deep clean. When we arrive, it's clear the situation is more involved — hoarding that wasn't visible from the doorstep, or a biohazard concern that wasn't in the original notes.

A contractor sends a revised quote and waits for approval. A partner adapts. We assess what's actually needed, keep the referring officer informed, and get the work done. Whether a home needs a deep clean, hoarding support, help after a bereavement, or all three — we handle it. If the garden needs attention at the same time, we take care of that too.

The referral pathway shouldn't stall because reality didn't match the paperwork.

The part that makes your job easier

You have too many cases and not enough hours. We understand that because we work alongside council teams every day.

That's why every job comes with full documentation — waste transfer notes, completion reports, and job summaries you can file straight into a case record. Over 90% of our council referrals are completed within the agreed timeline. When we say we'll update you, we do. You don't have to chase.

Our team is DBS Enhanced checked and safeguarding trained. We arrive in unmarked vehicles, which matters when a tenant's neighbours are already asking questions. And we treat every person in every property with the same care — because behind every referral is someone who deserves dignity, not a rushed job by whoever was cheapest on the framework.

Someone answers

If you're a council professional looking for a specialist cleaning partner you can rely on, we'd welcome a conversation. No pressure, no obligation.

Many of our council partnerships started with a single phone call about a single property. That's enough.

When you call us, someone answers. Call 01933 213045 any time, day or night, or use our online referral form. Everything is completely confidential.
